What Does It Do?
It's a 1 input, 1 output, clock BPM measurement and indicator. It will show incoming clock BPM to better than 1% accuracy — and the device can be calibrated to get even more accuracy.
It also flashes a green LED every quarter-beat upon receiving a clock start command. There's a "free-running" mode where the LED will flash regardless of start commands — great as a visual tempo indicator in-line with your gear.
It also has a cool 4-segment bar graph display option, plus a 1-4 beat counter display.
Clock jitter indicator included.
All MIDI, including background clock, is always passed to the thru output. The display shows STOP and PLAY commands when clock is started and stopped on the host clock device.
