Description
A device for dividing incoming MIDI clock into subdivisions — x1 (no division), or 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/6, 1/8, or 1/16 divisions.
Now also has MULTIPLY 2x, 3x, 4x.
Power
DC 9–12V, centre positive supply. USB power can also be used. Power supply not included.
Input
MIDI clock in. Divided/multiplied clock out.
Display Shows
- STOP and PLAY when clock is started or stopped on the host clock device
- Clock tempo, to better than 1–2% accuracy
- MIDI present, via a small circle indicator
Controls
| Down | Goes to lowest clock division, 1/16 |
| Up | Steps through 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 divisions etc. |
| Start/Stop | Turns LED on/off. Hold for 1 second to reboot the device. |
Notes: Whilst clock divisions can be stepped through on the fly, it's better to stop the clock-sending device before changes are made, to ensure lock. This device reads incoming clock but does not generate clock.
