MINDBURNER MIDI Jittascope
This device displays the accuracy of incoming MIDI clock. Shows how bad some DAW's can be.
POWER
This can be any DC 2.1mm power supply 7-12v with tip positive. One can also use a USB cable to power from 5v (not supplied)
OPERATION
Upon power up, the device displays any incoming clock BPM
The display also shows:
✫Quality - BAD to EXCELLENT
✫Max deviation from perfection (lower better)
✫Accuracy (higher better)
A short press of the function button, will reset the device. Long press and release shows the trend mode screen.
Max deviation and average interval between messages ( regular and low is good)

MIDI THRU
Two MIDI ports that mirrors the incoming signal. The scope doesn't interfere. This is handy if you want to insert the scope in-line with other MIDI gear.
NOTES
It's normal for measurements to jump around, it's the overall picture that matters.
