What Is It?
It's two distinct devices in one — V-Trig to S-Trig, and S-Trig to V-Trig. Both are separate circuits and can be used simultaneously.
Connections
Via 6.35mm mono jack — tip = signal, sleeve = GND.
Some synths — like the Moog Source — use stereo jacks and the ring connection, so you may need to make up a lead. ProSignal part# PSG03432 can work for this.
Confirmed working with a Korg KR-55 drum machine triggering a Roland Jupiter-4.
Power
- Power only needed for the S>V Trig side
- Via a 2.1mm DC jack, tip positive
- Use 5–9V+, depending on the gate voltage your application requires
- Green LED lights when an input jack is plugged in
Typical Applications
V-Trig (voltage pulse) — Teisco, Roland, ARP, Sequential Circuits (SCI). E.g. use an SCI Pro-One to play a Moog Source.
S-Trig (voltage cut) — Korg, Yamaha, Moog. E.g. use a Moog Source to play a Teisco 60F.
