MINDBURNER MIDI - STOP THE LOT
What does it do?
Filters out selected MIDI messages from the MIDI data stream
SPARKS said 'you gotta beat the clock' but I say stop it.
Handy if you don't want spurious clock and Active Sensing messages for example starting, stopping or slowing down a piece of gear. Maybe you need to stop program change messages, or pitch bend.
It has 1 input and 2 outputs:
One filtered and one just an unfiltered copy of the incoming MIDI (effectively a MIDI thru)
Plug in a MIDI cable with say with clock for example and the device will send out two copies, but one will have the clock messages filtered.
Simply press the button to cycle through the filters. The selection is recalled on power up.

This can be any 2.1mm 9-12v DC supply 1A+ capacity, tip positive (not supplied)

some customer feedback..
I needed something to solve a problem with my Akai MPX16 and MPX8. The Akais would drop notes or be very laggy over MIDI which is a big problem when you are sequencing drum samples! Anyway the 'Mindburner Stop The Clock' has stripped out the clock and active sensing data that the Akai MPXs can't use anyway. This means the MIDI interface of the Akais isn't overloaded and they now work perfectly.
