What Does It Do?
This MIDI thru box provides 4 outputs from 1 input.
How Is It Powered?
This device is powered from the MIDI buss and does not require any external power. This is a bit of a cheat, truth be told, but it works well for small thru devices.
In the unlikely event that self-powered mode doesn't work, the device can be switched to 5V USB power — remove 2 small jumpers and plug in via the 0.5m lead supplied. The default mode is self-powered.
There is no signal drop or delay in its design. This device saves daisy-chaining — i.e. linking one device to the next.

Note: A small number of MIDI controllers/interfaces may not provide enough power to drive the splitter in self-powered mode — including Beatstep, some Focusrite audio interfaces, and the Elektron Octatrack.
Can I use a mobile phone power bank?

How Do I Connect It?
- Plug a master controller keyboard into the MIDI IN jack
- Plug in slave modules, synths, drum machines etc. into the 4 MIDI thru jacks
- Job done
