What does it do?

This device is a MIDI monitor. It shows incoming MIDI data. Notes,CC, Pitch bend etc.
Like a mini hardware version of the classic PC tool MIDIox. Great for DAWless rigs.

Has two MIDI thrus for handy incorporation into your existing setup. These bypass the device. The top line of the display that’s underlined is the latest event. Longpress of the MODE button for one second enters BPM view. This will show the BPM and potential accuracy of any incoming MIDI clock. 

Long press again to return.

Power:

This can be any 2.1mm 9-12v DC supply 1A+ capacity, tip positive (not supplied)

Can also use a USB Mini B (or micro/USB C depending on stock) lead to USB charger 1A or more (not supplied)

• Type = event type like NOTE, CC etc
• Note = note value
• Hex  = Hex value for note
• Ch    = MIDI channel
• Tm   = received time in ms. This provides a sense of how recently each MIDI event occurred, helping the user track the timing of MIDI messages.
• Bargraph  = velocity and Pitch bend amount if received
• Two buffered MIDI thru's - sending incoming MIDI out without alteration.
• MODE button - Pauses the screen to get a better view
